Maurice Dockrell is a former barrister with nearly 20 years experience.

He is now a Senior Litigation Solicitor with Coughlan White & Partners, Co Kildare. He has extensive experience in Expert Witness Evidence, gained through his litigation practice.

He has a developed a particular interest in the training of expert witnesses and has delivered expert witness and courtroom skills courses to a broad range of professionals across the public service. He has also turned his attention to the factors involved in judicial decision-making having designed and delivered a customised six day training programme for the Labour Court, Equality Tribunal and Rights Commissioners on quasi-judicial decision making.

Maurice is a former Chairperson of the Private Security Authority, former member of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal and a former member of the Health Committee of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
