Kate gained an honours degree in law from Trinity College Dublin in 1995. She has been a qualified solicitor since 1999.

She has also received a Diploma in Arbitration from UCD and a Diploma in E-Commerce from the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland. She previously led the IP/Data Protection department of a large international firm. In Frontier Privacy, Kate runs the team that carries out Data Protection audits/gap analysis reporting for clients, large and small.
