• Retrofitting Residential Buildings to Fire Safety Standards
  • Irish Cases explored – Findings – Solutions – pitfalls discovered

A one-day conference

Live Virtual Event

Date: 4th November 2020

It’s well documented that many residential and multi-occupancy developments around Ireland still do not comply with all fire safety regulations. Equally, thousands of developments are in need of retrofitting to bring them up to the required standard.

This one day conference will offer the most up to date information on the current state of Ireland’s housing stock in regards to fire safety, what changes are needed, and will suggest methods and forward thinking solutions. We will cover regulatory developments, as well as important legal issues, such as who is ultimately responsible for fire safety remedial works. We will hear from the experts in the space on their experience from a number of projects, key issues, collecting sums of money, addressing issues, coordinating access arrangements and more. We will explore financing options available for fire safety retrofits as well as strategic management guidelines for the carrying out of remedial works.

This one-day conference will highlight exactly where Ireland’s housing stock is in terms of fire safety and possible solutions to remedy the issues. You will hear from a highly experienced speaker panel, and gain valuable CPD hours if applicable.
