Ciara Kirke is Clinical Lead of the National Medication Safety Programme in Ireland. She is responsible for leading initiatives to reduce medication-related harm and harm with venous thromboembolism in the public health system. She acts as a medication error expert for the European Medicines Agency and the World Health Organisation.
