Colin has been employed in the construction industry as a quantity surveyor and project manager in sectors such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering specializing in BMS control and renewable heating and cooling technologies. General Building, Facilities Management and Property Development. Colin has worked extensively with Lidl Ireland on the roll out of energy efficient measures to their store network to include lighting and heating control initatives through the use of BMS and data collection and monitoring. The procurement and installation of renewable heating/cooling technology and numerous other mechanical and electrical plant to deliver on the strategic objectives of the Lidl “a better tomorrow programme”. As a construction professional, Colin has developed Strategic Leadership, Financial, Negotiation, Tendering, Bid Management, Technical and Business Development skills. Colin displays leadership in all his roles and would possess excellent people management and problem-solving skills. He has recently completed an MSc in Building Surveying in Leeds Beckett University coupled with his MBA have allowed Colin to manage complex projects to an exacting high standard. He recently won an award from the Sustainable Ecological Engineering Society (SEEDS) for his contribution to the built environment.
