Dr. Fergal Callaghan

Dr Fergal Callaghan is a director with AWN with responsibility for Quantitative Risk Assessment. He has extensive experience in providing consultancy services to licensed establishments in Ireland and overseas, Dr. Callaghan has a B.Sc. (Industrial Chemistry) and Ph.D. Chemical Engineering. He has been involved in the working groups to assist the H&SA in the preparation of a number of aspects of the Seveso III compliance regie. He is an Associate Member of The Institution of Chemical Engineers (AMIChemE), a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC), Member of the Environmental Protection Subject Group, IChemE, Member of the Safety and Loss Prevention Group, a Graduate Member of The Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management. He has 24 years engineering and consultancy experience in the Irish, UK and European environmental industry.
