Dr Shane Colclough

Research Fellow, University College Dublin, and Principal, Energy Expertise Ltd

Shane Colclough had led research into low-energy dwellings in UCD and Ulster University for the past 10 years, in addition to being principal at the consultancy firm Energy Expertise Ltd. He is also active in the not for profit sector and is vice-Chairman of the Passive House Association of Ireland and founding Chairman of near Zero Energy Buildings Ireland nZEBI. He has authored many papers on the topic of low-energy and passive houses & energy storage in addition to presenting at national and international conferences. He is an experienced consultant and serves in the EU as an Expert on Energy-Efficient Buildings.
