Emily’s role as Tax Manager in PwC's People and Organisation Tax department involved advising on various complex income tax and social security projects, and supporting clients through payroll tax and income tax audits by Revenue. She also supported clients with Relevant Contracts Tax advice, from determining whether the tax is applicable to them, to reviewing contracts, RCT health checks, and preparing RCT voluntary disclosures in the context of Revenue audits. From December 2016 she formed part of PwC's dedicated PAYE Modernisation team, which was tasked with monitoring the developments of Revenue's program for implementation of Real Time Reporting in Ireland and supporting PwC's clients to prepare for the changes. As part of her role, she attended Revenue's PAYE Modernisation Stakeholder group as PwC's representative. She regularly provides training to PwC groups and external client groups and to professionals at industry CPD training on PAYE Modernisation and Real Time Reporting.
