Karen is a partner in the Construction & Engineering Group at Arthur Cox and is a highly experienced construction lawyer. She is experienced in drafting bespoke agreements as well as drafting and negotiating amendments to all standard forms of building and civil engineering contracts and consultants’ appointments used in Ireland and internationally particularly in the IT, pharmaceutical, healthcare and renewable energy sectors. Karen is also experienced in the area of construction dispute resolution, having advised and represented employers and contractors in arbitrations domestically and internationally as well as at conciliations and mediations. She is a practising arbitrator, a CIArb and MII accredited mediator and a committee member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Irish Branch and the National Association of Women in Construction.
