Max has 20 years’ experience as a Maritime Engineer with the Dutch Navy before pursuing a career in the lift industry in 2000. Prior to making the move to ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ireland in 2004 he was regional manager for the Amsterdam area with ThyssenKrupp Elevator Netherlands. In 2005 he was headhunted by one of the leading lift & escalator consultancy firms in Europe and headed up the Irish operation before starting his own consultancy firm at the beginning of 2011. Max has a specialist knowledge in legislation and regulations relating to lifts and escalators and furthermore has in depth knowledge of the European Lift & Escalator industry. S.E.E.C. Ltd has offices in Ireland, UK and France and is currently active in 13 European countries, North Africa and the USA.
