Peter’s background is primarily in marketing and communications in the food & drinks industries, having worked for businesses such as Bulmers, Beamish & Crawford and Supermac’s before going out on his own as a small-scale wine merchant over a decade ago. In his role as Marketing Director in Supermac’s, he was heavily involved in the Alliance for Insurance Reform Mk. 1 in 2002/03 and was asked by policyholders to reform the Alliance when it became clear another crisis had developed in 2018. Born and bred in Dundalk, Peter is married with three daughters in Clarinbridge, Co Galway and dedicates much of his spare time to camogie and hurling, wonderful sports his Dundalk upbringing ensures he knows very little about.
