Prof Dominic Harmon graduated in Jun 95 as Master Medical Science; Physiology from UCD, NUI. In Apr 97 he gained a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland which fostered an interest in Sports Medicine and proved to be valuable experience in the management of Musculoskeletal Pain. In Apr 99 he was awarded Fellow of College of Anaesthetists.
Prof Harmon achieved a BA in Arts from DCU, NUI in Mar 01 and in Mar 03 he graduated with a BA in major Psychology DCU, NUI. His objective in achieving this degree was directly relating to Chronic Pain Management and cognitive outcomes after Anaesthesia. In Dec 03 he graduated with an M.D. (Anaesthesia) from UCC, NUI. In May 04 he gained a Certificate in Specialist Training (Anaesthesia Intensive Care and Pain Medicine) and in May 05 a Diploma in Pain Medicine. He received a postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from University of Wales in Jan 2005.
