Richard Dalton

Richard graduated with a B.Sc. in Computing in 2008 having developed for embedded systems such as the Nintendo GBA and NDS. Richard started his career in IT with Alpoz where he worked as a developer on content management sites for several large sites. From there he went onto work at Kerna Communications as a Systems and Network Engineer. Richard later joined Rits in December 2012. Since joining Rits Richard has been involved in technical infrastructure, application security reviews and audits of hardware and embedded systems. A number of these reviews have included technical assessments such as on operating system hardening, application software security and recommendations for improving the security of these devices. Richard has disclosed several security issues in firewall vendors and IoT devices which are used both in both homes and businesses with vendors such as Sophos.
